This policy describes what Housli ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run a household coordination app, and we do not sell personal information.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles, and we show no ads.
Only to provide the Service: authenticate you, sync your household's data between members, deliver notifications you enabled, enforce subscription entitlements, and keep the Service secure. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models.
Your household content is visible to the members of your household. We share data only with the processors needed to run the Service: our hosting provider (Hetzner, servers in the USA/EU), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (sign-in and push delivery), and Expo (push delivery). We disclose data if required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual content in the app at any time. To delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from your account email; we will delete associated personal data within 30 days, except minimal records we must keep for legal or security reasons. Backups roll off on a fixed schedule.
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising them. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within the legally required time. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is no opt-out to exercise.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Session tokens are stored only as hashes, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and household data is scoped server-side to household members. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to the contact below.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
